John Smith - Foreman
More than 25 years roofing and building experience
John first started roofing at the age of 17. He was a full-time labourer for three years, learning the trade, and within five years was a full time layer. It was at this point that John knew this was the trade for him and he developed a real passion for wanting to become the best at what he was doing. There was still knowledge to learn about the systems used by Pro Seal so John committed all the hours and days he could learning all the do's and dont's about the systems he was applying as well as site safety and welfare. After 10 years into his trade, Pro Seal Smith Roofing Ltd was getting noticed for the quality of its work and was nominated for best Sika installer In England in 2008, winning best applicator. In 2012 the company was nominated and won the award for a second time. It was overwhelming to win again and John decided he wanted to put all his skills and knowledge into good use by developing his team and making them outstanding future foremen as he believes it takes 10 years to create perfection. In 2016 Pro Seal Smith Roofing Ltd won best Sika installer again. Pro Seal Smith Roofing Ltd has spent more than two decades working all over the country, mostly on property such as hospitals, police stations, army barracks, prisons, schools, theatres and universities.
